Are you an early bird who loves cooking, hospitality, and working with fresh ingredients straight from the garden? Would you enjoy spending your mornings at one of the most unique eco-campsites in the Netherlands? Then we’d love to welcome you to Camping De Helleborus.
As our Breakfast Host, you’ll create memorable mornings for guests from all over the world. You’ll prepare beautiful breakfasts using homemade products and ingredients harvested from our own edible garden, while helping guests start their day with genuine hospitality.
What you’ll do
- – Prepare and serve fresh breakfasts using homemade sourdough bread, jams, yogurt, seasonal vegetables and herbs.
- – Harvest edible flowers, herbs, fruit and vegetables from our garden.
- – Create homemade products for our breakfast buffet.
- – Welcome guests and provide a warm, relaxed start to their day.
- – Keep the breakfast area clean, organised and fully stocked.
- – Help with purchasing and inventory planning.
- – Clean and prepare accommodations for arriving guests.
We’re looking for someone who
- – Enjoys cooking and preparing fresh food.
- – Has experience in hospitality or food preparation, preferred but not essential.
- – Loves working with edible plants, herbs and seasonal produce.
- – Has an eye for detail and takes pride in presenting beautiful food.
- – Is proactive and enjoys working independently.
- – Thrives in a dynamic environment.
- – Is friendly, welcoming and enjoys interacting with guests.
What we offer
- – A salary according to the Recreation Collective Labour Agreement, salary scale 4–5, depending on your experience.
- – A seasonal contract until 31 October with flexible working hours.
- – 18–28 hours per week.
- – Weekend availability of approximately 75% is required. Sunday bonuses apply.
- – Morning shifts starting at 6:00 or 8:00 a.m.
- – Plan your own availability using the L1nda App.

About Camping De Helleborus
Camping De Helleborus is a colourful eco-campsite just outside the city of Groningen. Guests stay in unique safari tents, bell tents, retro caravans and a Mongolian yurt, surrounded by nature.
Everything we do revolves around sustainability, creativity and genuine hospitality. Much of what we serve comes directly from our own edible gardens, where herbs, edible flowers, fruit and vegetables are grown with care. We believe the best guest experiences begin with authentic, homemade food and personal attention.
Salary is based on relevant experience and education in accordance with the Recreation Collective Labour Agreement.
